Aparthotel Colombo Roma

Several restaurants, cafés, and supermarkets are just a 5-10 minute walk away, and the main sights are about a 20-minute bus ride. For trips beyond the center, though, buses were less convenient and ride-sharing could get expensive. We found the rooms modern, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. I chose the hotel for seven nights because it looked like good value with easy access to central Rome, and it delivered on that. Finding a place in Rome that’s both modern and reasonably priced can be difficult. A few practical snags: the laundry room’s washing machine was broken for our whole stay, and the hotel had just one iron, kept in that room. There were no tissues or coffee sachets in the rooms, though staff offered us complimentary coffee from the bar. Reception also seemed understaffed and often overwhelmed during busy check-in and checkout periods. I’d recommend it and would stay again if I return to Rome.

There are plenty of bus stops nearby, and the center takes about 20 minutes to reach. They also run free shuttles to Colosseum. The location suited us, and the price felt more than fair. Even the standard rooms are roomy, with a little kitchen and a good bathroom. Everything was very clean, the staff were polite and informative, and settling in was easy. I’d stay here again if I came back to Rome.

Dennis really helped me with several things late at night, and both he and Giordano made my stay so pleasant. The staff were incredibly friendly. I’ll definitely come back!

The hotel has been beautifully renovated, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was nice, and the cleaning staff made the room every day just as they had on my first day. Everyone was helpful and polite. The distance from the center didn’t bother us. Bus stops are only a two-minute walk away and take you around. Good value for the money, and I’d definitely return.
