It’s well connected to the city centre and near the Vatican, which made the setting perfect for us. The receptionist and owner were always available, and cleanliness was 5/5. The room is cleaned as requested. There’s a mini fridge in every room with juice and yogurt, plus a coffee machine for coffee lovers. An unforgettable stay, highly recommended if you’re visiting Rome.

We had a really nice time at Athena Guesthouse. The owner was so friendly and communication with her was very good. Breakfast in the room came with plenty of coffee and other snacks, plus some yogurt and juice. I really recommend this place and hope I can come back soon.

The pictures on the booking site matched the place, and we had an awesome stay. Breakfast and coffee were magnificent. The metro is quite close, and there’s a pretty park just a few minutes away on foot. The guy we spoke with was kind and sweet, and spoke English pretty well. It was worth every penny, 100% recommend.

If you’d rather feel like a local than a tourist, we highly recommend this small boutique hotel. It’s family owned and run in a lovely residential part of Rome, with very hospitable people. The rooms are modern and clean, and breakfast is simple but nice. You can walk to the Vatican, train station, metro, bus stop, little market place, restaurants, and more.

There are several great restaurants nearby, and St Peter's and the Vatican museum are an easy walk away. The location is good and there are plenty of bedrooms. The little balkony was cute, and the water pressure was good with a reasonable amount of warm water.
