The staff were accommodating when our flight was badly delayed and we arrived in the middle of the night. They also gave us helpful directions and suggestions for visiting historic sites. The lodging is about a seven-minute drive from Vatican City, with a metro station a few blocks away and a pretty neat dive bar right behind the building. If you're arriving late, the SIT shuttle stops around the corner, so I'd strongly recommend buying tickets ahead of time. An Uber or taxi into the city costs €50, and we ended up being charged a bit more than we should have. The metro sells 24, 48 and 72 hour passes for buses, metro and trams, but they don't cover trains going out of Rome.

It's close to the Metro, so the location is decent, but the rooms are dark and pricey for what you get. The walls are too thin to rest properly. It's an old apartment of about 70 m² that has been divided into three rooms, so you hear everything and then some.

The room was small but pleasant, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is very central for the main things to see. But the hot water ran out quickly, cleaning wasn't done well, and we weren't given clean sheets.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and good wifi, all at a very reasonable price for Rome. The breakfast is the one thing that could be better.
