My family and I waited outside for over ten minutes when we arrived because someone had to buzz us through two doors. The woman in charge didn’t respond to our texts, so we ended up paying to call her. The room was extremely hot, and the air conditioner was so weak it took more than three hours to cool things enough for us to sleep. The room looked nothing like we expected from the pictures. Dust was everywhere, the hair dryer barely worked, and the Wi-Fi didn’t reach into the room, so we had to stand by the door to get a signal. Breakfast was one croissant, a shot of coffee, and half a glass of orange juice. By the second day we were already tired of it. I guess you get what you pay for, but I’d spend a few extra dollars for somewhere more comfortable.

The staff were incredibly accommodating, and the rooms were clean and nice. We were close to the Metro and so many city attractions. My wife and I loved this B&B and would highly recommend it for a trip like ours.

We stayed in the apartment at Via della Giuliana 18. It was excellent for a family with children: well designed, comfortable beds, and all the amenities we needed. It’s right in central Rome, but faces the internal garden, so there was no noise at night. Marco was easy to reach on WhatsApp and answered questions efficiently. A small tip for a taxi to the airport: the fixed fare set by the city of Rome applies within the Aurelian walls. Booking from an address one block closer to the Vatican can save about 20 euro. Via Leone 127 is a two-minute walk away and, in my case, the Wetaxi app showed the correct prices: 31 euro fixed to Ciampino Airport from there, while it showed 50 euro by the meter from della Giuliana 18. Just move the pickup point one block toward the Vatican.

Stay away. The customer service was awful. I was traveling with my two kids, the AC didn’t work, and nobody helped us. They only seemed interested in getting their money and kept asking about payment. We had to leave because the bedroom was extremely hot, and my kids couldn’t fall asleep. When I said I wasn’t happy with the service and didn’t think I should pay for a room we barely used, they became very rude and bullied me into paying. Stay away.
