There’s free, easy parking, and the train station is just a few minutes away with direct access to the city. There’s also a nice park and a shop close by. The place itself was nice, breakfast was excellent, and it was a very good B&B.

I booked one night at the B&B on a non-refundable rate. I hadn’t noticed check-in ended at 8 p.m., so when I realized, I politely asked the owner if she could still let me in around 9:30. She said it wasn’t possible. I then asked if she might refund the €34, even though I knew I wasn’t entitled to one, since I’d let her know a week ahead. She refused. I called throughout the day and evening, but she never picked up or even sent a message saying she’d call the next day. I’d apologized for my mistake, and my request was polite. She could have discussed it calmly over the phone, made an arrangement outside the check-in hours, or shown some generosity, but she didn’t. I understand she had the right to keep the payment, but a little common sense would have avoided losing a customer and getting this legitimate review. I first wrote about what happened, and she replied on Booking.com that I was talking about the wrong person, then accused me of making false claims and defaming her. I had described exactly what happened, and it’s all documented on the booking platform. She was upset that I’d posted negative comments, so I deleted the review at the time. I’m writing it again because describing real events isn’t defamation, even if she didn’t like the criticism.

The owner was very kind, and the B&B felt welcoming and clean. I slept well on a comfortable bed, and the Wi-Fi was really fast. My only issue was the low attic ceiling, which is a bit awkward if you’re 6'3". I’d happily stay here again next time I’m in Rome.

We had the attic room, which is on the small side and has a low ceiling, so watch your head. It wasn’t a big deal, though. The B&B is well organized, and the owner is lovely, always happy to suggest places to see. It was handy for us because public transport made it easy to get to both the Rome Fair and the city center.
