All’Orologio

The coffee corner and snacks were a nice touch, and the room was a good size for such a central spot. Staff were genuinely lovely, quick to respond, and attentive. When we asked for extra pillows and towels, they brought them over very quickly. The place was easy to find, and handling everything through WhatsApp was a clever setup.

I liked the setup a lot, especially the lack of a reception at the main entrance, which made it feel more like I was living in Rome. There was an entry for everyone, then a shared apartment entrance with the kitchen, and then the individual room with its own bathroom. We stayed at All’Orologio for 5 days, 4 nights, and had a large window looking onto a cute street and a comfortable bed. The hotel management were always a WhatsApp message away and were based in a nearby building. They restocked the kitchen fridge with water every day, and there were snacks and coffee too. Great location and service, and I’d stay again.

The location worked perfectly for walking around, including getting to the Vatican and exploring Rome, with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Our room was very big and quiet, and we enjoyed the stay. It’s on the 5th floor with no elevator, which was fine for us but worth considering if stairs are difficult. The refrigerator was convenient. The one issue was a dirty blanket, but they changed it and took care of it.

It was tucked away and quiet at night, with loads of great restaurants nearby and most attractions within walking distance. The staff were kind and helpful, always available, and had good tips for us. It felt like a home away from home. We were sad to leave and look forward to coming back to Rome!
