B&B Biancagiulia

The host met us at check-in and explained that the accommodation consists of three separate rooms with a shared kitchen and common area. The building’s old elevator was really cool and worked perfectly during our stay. Just remember to bring cash for the local tax. Our room was fine for one night before heading to the airport in the morning, and the location was convenient for Termini. We spent the day exploring nearby, following the host’s AMAZING recommendations, including a famous old gelato shop down the street.

The walls and ceilings are very thin. Over our six nights, we were woken every night by banging upstairs or people coming and going next door and slamming doors. That may not happen to everyone, and it isn’t necessarily the B&B’s fault, but it was my only complaint. For a budget hotel, it was fantastic for us: close to the train station and within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The rooms were clean, the beds were very, very comfortable, and the cleaner made them every day. The location suited what we needed.

The owner took time to suggest good places in Rome, and I slept well here. On my second day out, though, I returned to find the television and balcony window open. We hadn’t touched the hotel TV, so perhaps the maid had opened them. I think they should be more careful about that. The room was clean and beautiful, and the old elevator worked well. It’s only a five-minute walk from Roma Termini.

Don’t judge the place by the exterior; once you’re through the main entrance, it feels and looks so much nicer. We loved the little terrace and how clean everything was. The room and facilities were better than most hotels, and it was so comfortable we wished we could stay longer. The host was a really friendly guy who gave us great tips on getting around as soon as we arrived. Everything went smoothly. If we return to Rome, we’ll definitely stay here again.
