Hotel De Petris

The hotel is right in the heart of Rome, with major sights easy to reach on foot. It was welcoming and well kept, and the rooms, bathrooms, and shared spaces were clean. Staff were polite, friendly, and quick to help. I found the bed comfortable, too. The air conditioner cooled the room well, but it was loud enough that I had to switch it off to fall asleep. The blanket also felt rather heavy, which might bother some people on warm nights. Even with those small drawbacks, I had a positive stay. Hotel De Petris is a comfortable option with good service and solid value. A reliable hotel.

My wife and I left very disappointed. The room was nothing like the pictures, and for what we paid, the hotel was a complete failure. It was tiny, dirty, and cold, with a strong smell of cigarette smoke as soon as we walked in. The bed was very uncomfortable, the breakfast area wasn’t clean, and a lot of things were missing.

Nice terrace, and there’s a reception. Breakfast was okay, enough for us. The location is good and the rooms are clean. There are no slippers, though, so bring your own. Walking around in shoes after a shower wasn’t comfortable.

The Italian breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. Everything was very clean, too. Our room got a bit noisy at night because of the restaurant across the street. Lots of places are within walking distance, and the location is great.
