Domus Caracalla

We managed a late check-in very easily and could leave our bags after checkout. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and communication was good. It’s also well connected to the city by public transport. Thanks so much for the great hospitality!

The one drawback was the thin walls. We could hear the guests next door quite easily, especially when they were loud at night. Apart from that, we had a really positive stay at Domus Caracalla. The room was spacious, the shower was lovely and warm, and the toilet facilities were very nice. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, and we especially appreciated having breakfast in bed each morning. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Colosseum, with bars, restaurants, and shops close by. I’ll recommend Domus Caracalla to friends.

The only issue was the noise from the guests next door. It really felt like they were in our room. Otherwise, our stay at Domus Caracalla was wonderful. The lady who runs it was lovely and helpful, and her very good English made things even easier. She brought breakfast to our room each morning, and it was always nice. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the location was fantastic, near lots of places to eat and only a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum.

It’s an old building, which some people may find fascinating, but we found it a bit disappointing. Other people staying in the building also seemed bothered when we used the lift or main door early or late, probably because the lift was noisy, though we did our best to be careful. We had a few problems with the water heaters, but the owner was cooperative and tried to fix them as soon as possible. The rooms were spacious and the location really nice. Our stay at Domus Caracalla was pleasant, and we’d recommend it to friends and family.
