The place was good value, and I’d stay again when visiting Rome. I paid €70 for two nights. The host was nice and accommodating, the rooms were clean and well kept, and I felt safe. Room 4 had a fridge, microwave, air conditioner, and safe. It’s close to a metro station and a train station. I struggled with the black key at first: you need to pull it back a little to open the gate. The host could have explained that at check-in. The surrounding streets weren’t the cleanest, and I’m not sure the neighborhood was a good one.

I agree with the other review saying this property is a scam. They insist on getting your contact details, and if they can’t get in touch with you, they refuse your stay even though you’ve paid in full. On my arrival day, they messaged to say they wouldn’t accept me, so I had to find somewhere else at the last minute.

This was a terrible experience, honestly unlike anything I’ve had before. I’d paid, but the owner wouldn’t let me in, open the door, or leave the keys for me. My money was wasted, and the owner was incredibly rude. Just awful, awful, awful!

The host was friendly and helpful, and she speaks English well. The room felt worn out. I’d booked bed and breakfast, but they didn’t provide breakfast. They said there was some kind of problem and they couldn’t give me any.
