Campo de fiori Palace

The bedroom window wouldn't close, and the glass was so thin that I could hear everything outside: traffic, noisy people, seagulls, cats, dogs. I was awake for most of the night. We came for a weekend in the city and hoped to relax, but this run-down apartment ruined the whole trip. A really awful experience, definitely not recommended.

The apartment was just a five-minute walk from Campo dei Fiori, ten from Piazza Navona and ten from Castel Sant'Angelo. Still, central Rome is huge, and I realize the place suits a different kind of guest. I hadn't understood that when I booked, so that part was my mistake. As for Apartment 1, I would avoid it. I can't speak for the others. Don't be taken in by the other photos, descriptions or Booking reviews. I'm adding photos, since you can't smell the place, and it isn't good.

The room was roomy and had all the comforts, and the bathroom's shower was clean and comfortable. The kitchen looked well equipped, though we didn't need to use it this time. The property is gorgeous and close to Campo dei Fiori. We stayed at this B&B while spending a day shopping in central Rome. Highly recommended, and maybe next time we'll try the kitchen.

My family and I had the top-floor apartment with its own terrace in this magnificent historic building. Oxana looked after us from beginning to end. We'll definitely return.
