Tuttotondo

The owner or concierge got back to us quickly and even made a last-minute stay possible, which we really appreciated. We were right by the Vatican, a great base for anyone wanting to explore this historic part of the city or visit for spiritual reasons. As guides, we'd gladly recommend this good-value place.

We found black mold beside the bed, and that was the point when we had to leave. We arrived around 8 p.m. and asked reception to move us, but they said no other rooms were available. So we found another hotel in a hurry and moved out that same evening for our health. The room also looked nothing like the website photos. The furniture was old and stained, and the overall condition was very poor. We contacted Booking.com, where we had booked, and sent photo evidence asking for a refund. The hotel still refused to return our money. I don't recommend this place. It fell far short of the advertised standard and felt unsafe to stay in.

The place itself is really convenient and has everything you need. It's so close to the Vatican that we could literally see it from there. I'd definitely recommend it.

There are plenty of transport options nearby, and the accommodation felt clean and safe, especially considering it's right at the edge of Vatican. Our triple room was very nice. The owners were friendly and helped us with everything, and getting in was easy. Just keep in mind that towels are changed every three days.
