It's a B&B, not a hotel, but it's great for the price. Don't expect much comfort or perfect ambience. If your aim is to stay in the middle of everything, it's perfect. You can walk to everything worth seeing in Rome in 25 minutes or less, and most places are about 15 minutes away.

It's in a really handy spot for seeing the main sights on foot: San Pietro and Piazza di Spagna are about 20 minutes away, and the Colosseo takes 30 minutes. The room is basic and could be quieter. Breakfast isn't included, but there's an arrangement with a shop nearby.

We booked for three, but there was bedding and everything else for only two. When we contacted the host, he said, “my mistake, it will only be ready tomorrow”. So the third person had no bed that night. He showed no consideration and offered no refund. Don't book here. The host is a total mess.

We paid for three people and booked a night for three, but the host wasn't prepared for the third person at all. He didn't offer any help, just said, “Oops, you’ll have it tomorrow”. It was really unfortunate.

The bed was terrible, there was no hot water, and seagulls squawked in the alleys until 5am. I paid for three days and couldn't leave soon enough. It ruined my trip to Rome.
