The only real drawback for me was the small lift. Otherwise, the room was nice and the amenities were well stocked and prepared. Linens and towels are changed free once a week, and there's a shared coin-operated laundry room and dryer on the ground floor. Groceries, minimarts, and other shops are fairly close, and the 990 bus stop is nearby on the main street. Signora Adriana, the building manager, speaks English fluently and was very helpful and friendly.

Suites come with kitchenettes and free Wi-Fi, and there are washing machines available. A good place to stay if you're there longer than a weekend.

I spent close to a year here across several visits, staying in three different apartments at The Balduina Residence. Each one was comfortable, clean, and well organized. The staff were very friendly, and the self-service laundry and ironing area was handy.

We felt at home here and would be delighted to return soon. Mr. Ivano at reception deserves a special thank you for helping us choose an apartment and advising us throughout the stay. The residence itself was quiet and clean, with well-furnished, fully equipped apartments. It's near the city center and the Vatican, with excellent public transport links and Roma Balduina train station very close by. The staff were always kind and extremely helpful.
