Francesca was quick to answer our questions and really helpful. The rooms were clean and nice, with air conditioning, and there’s a small lift. Just to be clear, it’s a room rental rather than a hotel, with optional breakfast at a nearby bar.
The area is lively, and bus 71 made it really convenient to get to termini and the historical center. We stayed five nights and I’d happily do that again! The room was comfortable, had everything we needed, and was kept clean the whole time. 😋
The host was friendly and the room was nice, but other guests smoking indoors was a major downside. I emailed the host, and nothing was done. Breakfast was a voucher for a convenience store style option, just coffee and a sweet pastry.
The kitchen had free espresso, and the place smelled clean. 🙂
Getting around on foot was inconvenient, and the buses came only now and then and never went to the city center. We had to spend money on taxis or Uber. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and cleanliness was lacking: there was hair in the shower and on the mattress when we arrived. For nearly 500 for two people to stay two days, I expected much more. Despite the reviews calling it fabulous, I didn’t find much to like, and I wouldn’t recommend this place for a stay in Rome.
