Barcaccia Luxury Suites

The room itself was decent, and the location in the heart of Rome is excellent. But the organization was terrible. The owner handles communication on WhatsApp, and although we expected someone to meet us and suggest restaurants in particular areas, the only person there was the cleaner. She collected the tourist tax and hurried us along. She couldn’t have advised us on what we were looking for. The website says “daily cleaning,” and I wouldn’t have booked a place without it. Instead, after arriving late, we found the bed unmade and the towels still there. When we called the owner, she let us get some towels from reception. We’ve stayed in Rome many times, always at bed and breakfasts, since the hotels in the center can be rather old-fashioned. We’ve never had an experience like this. For that price, there are better options and availability in the same area. I won’t return and can’t recommend it.
