There were badly damaged doors in the bathrooms or closets, and the kitchen had only four forks, no frying pan and a broken dishwasher that seemed to have been broken for a while. The apartment itself is nice, but don’t expect the tea and coffee corner shown in the pictures, there was nothing, not even salt or sugar. They tried to charge us a €90 cleaning fee that hadn’t been agreed when booking. The location is fine and close to the metro. You can pull up to unload and load the car, but otherwise you’ll need a public garage.

The staff were incredible and breakfast was pretty good. The rooms themselves are good, though it’s fair to say the place feels more like an Airbnb or apartment than a hotel. Check-in was a bit confusing: you have to go to the coffee place on the right to get the keys and all the information. The entrance and lock are old and difficult to use.

Martin has just come back from 15 days at your hotel with his friend Johnny, and he says you were the best hosts he could have hoped for. He had a wonderful holiday and wants to thank you for everything, though the Wi-Fi could use some work, lol. I’m looking forward to visiting next year. The owner was kind and gave us useful tips for seeing Rome. The place is in a quiet area, close to the metro and easy to reach, so it’s a good base for a visit.
