Estefany welcomed us in person and walked us through the apartment amenities, which was a nice touch. Communication with Estefany, Sabrina, and George through WhatsApp was friendly and quick whenever we had a question or needed help. Checkout was easy. We asked about checking in early because we had luggage, but since the apartment had been rented the night before, early access would have meant a fairly significant hourly fee. We decided against it, though we understood why. There was occasionally someone at the front desk. The apartment was beautiful and exceptionally clean when we arrived. The bed was adequately comfortable, though an extra blanket would have been nice. The AC worked great, and the shower had excellent pressure and plenty of hot water for both of us. We especially liked the towel warmer. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed well stocked with basics, plus a couple of dishwasher pods, dish soap, and a few laundry detergent packets. The washer only takes very small loads, and the dryer doesn’t fully dry clothes. Once we figured out how to use them, we hung things overnight and they were ready the next day. The location suited us well. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Coliseum, where you can rent e-bikes and scooters instead of taking a cab. A train station is around a 15-20-minute walk. We found good local restaurants a few blocks away on the opposite side of the road, a convenience store and bakery about half a block away, and a small grocery store nearby. The building has a very small elevator, but it made getting luggage upstairs much easier. The street is busy, but has a well-lit sidewalk, and we felt reasonably safe walking there after dark. We didn’t hear much outside noise, the WiFi worked well, and the TV looked updated, though we didn’t turn it on.
