What I’ll remember most is Alessandra and her husband, Marco. I arrived a week before my family, feeling ill and really unwell. Alessandra kept me company in the mornings, and Marco went out to get special breakfast food, hoping I’d manage to eat. They cared for me so thoughtfully. On our last evening, we sat on the patio, talked over a glass of grappa, and hugged goodbye. A German family was staying there too, and their father joined us. It felt like a little family away from home, and I won’t forget their kindness and compassion. I’d go back just to see them. The place itself was clean and comfortable, even though it’s outside the city, and the air conditioning worked great.

I put up some relatives at Elisir B&B and they had a great stay. It’s a comfortable, clean place, tastefully renovated, and a real gem on the edge of the Torre Angela neighborhood. Recommended.
