Best Vatican Apartment

The rooms were clean, the staff were kind, and breakfast was delicious. There are really good restaurants nearby, and Saint Peter’s Basilica is close. You can let yourself in easily, as long as you have internet access.

Breakfast was brought to our room on a trolley. There were a few options, and while it was basic, it was hearty and just what we needed to start the day. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The room was small, though, and there wasn’t much space to move around when both of our large suitcases were open on the floor. We arrived around 9:30 in the morning, before the room was ready. The woman on duty let us leave our luggage while we went to Vatican City, and gave us the keys and entry code. When we came back that afternoon, our bags were already in the room. The B&B is in a shared building, and it isn’t obvious from the street. Look for the door unit number, press the Best Vatican button, then go inside. There are two lifts; we first took the wrong one, and it also wasn’t clear that the B&B was on the third floor. Despite the confusing entrance, staying at Best Vatican was a good experience.

We travel with our dog, and this hotel suited us really well. We liked it a lot and would happily stay here again if we come back to Rome. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast had a wide choice that won us over. The location also makes it easy to walk to the Vatican.

It’s possible to leave your luggage after checking out. Breakfast is served in the room and was good. Our room was spacious, with a big smart TV and a well-equipped bathroom. It’s very close to Vatican City and just two minutes from the subway.
