Bibbi's Garden

We spent two nights in this Garbatella apartment, hosted by Mr. Carlo, who was kind and very helpful. The neighborhood has plenty of services and a pleasant Roman feel, with excellent traditional restaurants nearby. The metro is just a few minutes away, and there’s free parking next to the apartment. It’s in a small basement building, but there’s a well-kept outdoor area with plants, umbrellas, chairs, and tables. Inside, there’s a bedroom, a nice bathroom, and a spacious living room with a kitchen and sofa bed. We only stayed overnight and didn’t use the kitchen, though it looked fully equipped.

We had a wonderful five days in Rome with the family, and the apartment was very comfortable. The owner was helpful, and everything we needed was within a ten-minute walk. There’s free parking nearby, and the metro is a 6-7 minute walk away. It’s two stops to the Colosseum. One thing for families with small children to know: the heating only comes on from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, so the apartment is chilly the rest of the day. We adults didn’t mind, but changing a small child and holding him half-naked for a few moments wasn’t pleasant. It’s otherwise a perfect place for those with young children, and obviously for the winter months. I hope to return. Highly recommended!
