Boarding House International

I'm studying abroad here from the States, and so far the location and the space have both been great. I love having Porta Portese right outside my window, though the windows don't seal very well, so the noise comes through clearly. The small bathroom also tends to flood. Even with those problems, everyone has been extremely kind and the amenities are great.

The location was great, but I rarely leave reviews and wanted future guests to know about the problems. Several students found parts of the property broken, including door locks, window shutters and toilets, and some noticed ants in their kitchens. The checkout charges were also very high if you didn't follow the instructions exactly. A month after we left, I and other students in the program were charged a lot for disorder because we'd stacked our sheets together to make things easier for the maids.

For my needs as a student abroad, the place is perfectly adequate. The Wi-Fi drops out now and then, but otherwise it works fine.

Manuela and the BHI staff were incredibly helpful. The Airbnb apartment was spacious and in a great location.
