Getting into the city by public transport was the one drawback, since it can be a little unreliable. There are buses to a main street nearby, and tram lines 3 and 8 stop at Trastevere Railway Station. If Bus 170 doesn't show, it's a 10-15 minute walk from the station to the hotel. Still, we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well kept, with everything we needed, and the receptionist was extremely kind and helpful with all our questions.

Borgo Papareschi sits in a quiet area, about 15 minutes by bus from the city centre, which was a nice break from the tourists and noise. The room was clean and great, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The staff were lovely, friendly, helpful, easy to talk to, and always smiling. It was a little hard to find when we arrived, but we liked our stay a lot and are looking forward to another trip to Rome.

The apartment was spacious, clean, and relaxing, and we had no night noise after long days of touring. There are great shops and cafes nearby, plus some lovely little pizza places, though there aren't any gift shops around. The 170 bus goes back to the tourist hotspots. The staff were friendly. If you'd like to get away from the tourist areas and stay among locals, this is a great place.

There are mini markets nearby, and the bus service to Piazza Venezia is good. Reception were friendly and very helpful. The place felt very clean and safe, with gated security.
