This didn’t feel like good value for money, and the photos looked nothing like the actual place. It seems they converted an old apartment into separate hotel rooms. The locks on both the street door and our room were very hard to open. The mattress and pillows were so hard that I’ve never slept more uncomfortably. The walls needed fresh paint and the room needed repairs. We had no Wi-Fi for two days and had to ask several times for the password. There was nobody at reception to ask in person. The reception also wasn’t open around the clock, and the hostess was hard to reach by phone, so if something happened outside staffed hours, there was no one to help. We lost our flight and arrived around 2 a.m. They charged us €20 for late check-in because someone had to be hired to open the door. On our last day, they charged us twice for the stay. When we went to complain, reception was empty again, so we had to speak to her by phone. Look for another hotel.

I paid for a room weeks ahead of my Rome trip, then got a call after I’d arrived saying the booking had been cancelled. There was no email or call the day before. They waited until the last minute and gave vague excuses about “problems with my booking.” I’d already paid in advance and suddenly had nowhere to stay. The staff were so unprofessional that they didn’t even invite me in to sit while I searched for another place after they’d messed everything up. One of my worst experiences ever. They’re unreliable, so find another hotel.

Vittoria made everything so easy for us, with amazing attention and recommendations for authentic places. The hotel was very clean and centrally located, so it was easy to get everywhere. Excellent! I’ll definitely come back.

Zoya, the woman in charge, stayed in touch with the guests and was a special person. The boutique hotel is chic and centrally located, with quick access to most attractions. The price felt fair for the quality.
