Bye Rome

The room was very humid, and the little bathroom window seemed like it might help. I tried opening it, then realized someone could see me and shut it again. The shower was weak and painfully slow, which made showering stressful. Everything else was fine, but tourists should be aware of this.

The staff were really friendly and as helpful as could be, and the place was clean and well located for transport and good spots. It was a good stay for a reasonable price. The rooms are in a shared house, though, so noise carries and you can hear the neighbors. The bathroom fixtures sometimes need repairs, and the double bed is two singles pushed together with a gap between them. Breakfast was fresh and great on weekdays, less so at the weekend.

We found the room spacious, comfortable, clean, and very safe, with plenty of cafes nearby. The location also made getting around Rome easy, and the staff were really friendly. The only letdown was the weak wifi. Still, I'd recommend it for a short visit.

The buildings look nice in the pictures, but the reality is different, especially inside, where the stairs are in a generally run-down state and things feel neglected. The location is good, but the basic accommodation, limited quality and services, and unhelpful, unfriendly staff don't justify the high price. This was a stay from some months ago. I'm not sure I'd recommend going.
