The price is unbelievably good for such a nice place in this location. You can walk to everything, including the Colosseum, pantheon, and Vatican. The rooms were very clean and stylish, with good Wi-Fi, and there was breakfast every morning. The staff were incredible and took care of every need. When the airline lost our luggage, they helped us get it back, which was a huge help. They also arranged an airport pickup. The driver was faster than the metro and cheaper than a regular taxi, which was nice. We had an amazing stay and would definitely stay here again if we return to Rome. You must stay here!

We liked being a little outside the busy center, with an easy walk back in. The room was private, cleaned each day, and came with fresh towels; the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Staff were lovely, and it was easy to WhatsApp the head office if anything came up. Breakfast was simple, but having it brought to the room was a nice extra. The hot tub was old and weak, more like a large bath, and bubbles weren't an option. Nearby restaurant bars made some noise at night, though it wasn't too late or disruptive. It was hard to find the place, and the inner security gate was tricky to open. There was both a radiator and AC, but we couldn't use the AC and the radiator made the room too warm, so we opened a window, which worked for us. For the price, I wouldn't stay again. If it cost less, I would.

We paid £563.18 for two nights after booking a room advertised with a pleasant room, a jacuzzi, Wi-Fi, and breakfast delivered by room service. I was pregnant, and we hoped to have one last New Year's celebration as a couple before becoming a family. Instead, this was an awful experience for a trip where we wanted to relax. We arrived around 3 a.m. after a delayed flight, tired but eager to use the jacuzzi. Water suddenly seemed to pour out from underneath it and spread toward the bed. At 4 a.m. I was using towels and the bed cover to mop it up. My partner messaged the owner, who didn't reply until morning. We asked the woman who came to clean and bring breakfast to contact him too, and sent another message, but still heard nothing. Breakfast was extremely minimal, with nothing hot and no questions about allergies. Around 11 a.m. a plumber arrived without speaking English and spent two hours trying to fix the tub. I asked for a partial refund, another room, or an extended stay as compensation. The owner was dismissive and arrogant. He said he didn't like my attitude, rejected my partner's call, then shouted and swore when he eventually answered, saying he would come and throw us out of the window. I believe he is racist, sexist, and dangerous, and shouldn't be dealing with visitors. Our morning was ruined until about 1:30 p.m., when we could finally go out. Afterward he texted asking where my partner was and saying he would come to him, as if to start a fight. We didn't want violence, especially while I was pregnant. I suggested calling the police if it got worse, but my partner wanted to try to enjoy the trip. That evening the owner turned up yelling and swearing and trying to fight my partner. The stress made me ill, and I vomited from anxiety. The jacuzzi was never fixed. On New Year's Eve, after we returned from the fireworks without using it, there was more water on the floor. I mopped again and left towels and sheets down to soak it up. We also had no hot water at all, so no shower. The next morning nobody came with breakfast until we messaged again. It finally arrived at 11, the checkout time. After we left and returned the keys, the owner texted claiming we'd stolen the jacuzzi cap and saying the kettle was broken, though we hadn't even used it. My partner ignored the messages so we could handle things properly and officially, but the owner began texting from another number with hateful remarks and asking where we were so he could come find us or fight, or something like that. I've never had an experience like this in all my travels, including Italy and Rome. Please don't put yourself or your loved ones at risk of this kind of hate and have your holiday ruined.

Everything was close by, and the quality was very good for the price. A great place to spend a holiday in Rome.

The location really is excellent, but a lot of the other descriptions don't match what we found. Calling it a hotel feels like a stretch. It's on the first floor of an apartment building, with no elevator, so you have to haul your bags up the stairs. The apartment has been split into four rooms off a hallway. There was no staff on site, coffee bar, or room service. Someone came in during the day to make the bed and take out the rubbish. Breakfast was included and was meant to arrive in set hours. We had morning tours before then, so an employee offered to leave something in our room the night before. That only happened on two of our three nights. We booked and paid through Booking.com. At check-in, an employee said her manager no longer accepted online payments and we had to pay again at the property. She promised they'd help get the first payment refunded. I showed proof I had already paid and initially refused, then contacted Booking.com. After three calls and over two hours, their representative authorized the second payment and said the first would be reimbursed. But when we went to pay, the new amount was higher because, they said, “the website had the wrong price.” I've sent the booking details to the hotel to help process the refund and asked for an invoice, since they gave me only a credit card receipt and I need it for reimbursement. Neither request has received a response.
