Our room made it hard to rest, especially with a toddler along. The walls and doors did nothing to block sound, so we could hear conversations from the neighboring rooms. The bed was noisy and in poor shape, and the room's maintenance was disappointing. We booked after seeing the photos on Booking.com, but the room we got fell well below even basic standards. I can't speak for every room. Breakfast was a letdown too: white toast, a few tiny pieces of completely dried omelette, a croissant, and coffee. It wasn't a buffet, and we were served once unless we asked for more. After trying it, we weren't inclined to ask. It felt like a formality rather than a proper breakfast. They should improve it or stop promoting it as a selling point, since that comes across as misleading. The location was decent, and the women at reception and the breakfast counter were polite and did their best within the limits they had. I have no complaint about their professionalism. Hotel management, would you feel comfortable spending a holiday in a room like this? The room needs serious attention to maintenance, cleanliness, soundproofing, and especially breakfast quality. Traveling with a young child made an already unpleasant stay harder. In its current state, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

I'm sorry our stay in one of the world's most beautiful cities turned out so badly. My husband and I were extremely disappointed. From what we saw, this “hotel” didn't feel like a real hotel and had little to do with the pictures online. The small establishment was poorly insulated, and we could hear every footstep and voice from people passing our room. Our room was tiny and poorly ventilated, with no sunlight. It looked onto the backs of other buildings and smelled musty. There was visible dampness all around, and we coughed and sneezed all night. The headboard had visible marks where people had rested their heads, and one curtain was broken and clearly unrepaired, making it harder to block outside light or get privacy. Breakfast fell well short of what we expected. It's not the most important thing to us, but it should be mentioned. It was served in a tiny backyard that looked nothing like the pictures.

We had a fantastic four days in Rome, and the guest house made the trip feel just right. It sits outside the ztl, which worked well for us coming by car, and Colosseo, Trevi, Termini station, and other tourist spots are within about a kilometer on foot. The rooms were always clean, the air conditioning worked great, and breakfast was included. The employees were really friendly, and they had free cots for my two-year-old. I loved it all and would stay again.

The location was fantastic, and the room stayed cool and was cleaned regularly. They let us leave our luggage there and check in later, and the airport shuttle was very affordable. Everyone was kind and accommodating, and breakfast was really good. I'd definitely recommend it!

It felt more like our own little apartment in Roma than a bland, standard hotel room. The charming room was very clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The alley was quieter, but restaurants, shopping, the train station, and attractions were close enough that we walked everywhere. The staff were lovely, too. Il Nipotino, across the alley, served great food at very reasonable prices, and it was handy to have so close if we wanted an extra glass of wine with dinner.
