The location is handy, with the Vatican within walking distance and a train station right outside. There was construction outside, which is why I gave the location four stars, though that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Inside, the comfortable rooms have fun, unique themes, and breakfast is served on the terrace in a beautiful greenhouse, with the biggest variety of options I think I’ve ever seen. There’s also a kitchen in the shared space with tea, coffee, milk, and cookies available around the clock. The service was out of this world. Everyone was so nice, helpful, and patient. Gianluca, the owner, took time to mark routes and recommendations on a paper map for my dad and me, and pretty much taught us what we needed to know about public transport, staying safe, and enjoying the city. I loved casa martini so much I’d stay a million times more! Without the construction, everything was truly five stars. I can’t recommend it enough. Thanks, gianluca! 🤍

The Vatican, the basilica, Castel Sant’Angelo, the river, metro and bus stops are all about a five-minute walk away, with local restaurants and gift shops nearby. Gianluca was great at helping us plan our days: he explained the maps, suggested walking routes, recommended restaurants when we asked, and could arrange an airport transfer. We even left with pasta and recipes as a farewell gift. Casa Martini feels welcoming while still being furnished like a smart five-star hotel. Our room had a cosy dining nook, a big comfortable bed, a sofa bed and a large smart TV for Netflix or streaming. The free Wi-Fi worked pretty well. The owner and staff were attentive to cleanliness, professional, and very helpful. Breakfast was warm and tasty. I’d recommend it for a Rome and Vatican trip.

The location made our short visit easy: there are plenty of shops and really good restaurants around, and the Vatican is just a few minutes on foot. My mom and I stayed two nights in Rome, and Casa Martini turned out to be a great choice for our vacation. The owner was so helpful, sharing tips and routes to help us fit in as much as possible. The room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was really good.

The breakfast was a real highlight, with lots to choose from, and I was absolutely impressed. The rooms are beautiful, and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They speak English very well, so you’ll enjoy your stay even if you don’t speak Italian. 🥰

Gianluca helped us plan our days with useful ideas for places to see, restaurants, and subway directions for getting around Rome. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was fantastic, and he was welcoming and very helpful. Thank you, Casa Martini, for making our trip such a wonderful experience. If we come back to Rome, we’ll definitely choose you again!
