The room was disappointing and below standard. The bed was hard, the pillows weren’t decent, and it only had a top sheet. The toilet seat was broken, and the shower was full of mould. At least the AC worked. Breakfast was awful, with stale bread and very little else. Wouldn’t recommend it.
The location was just right for visiting Link University’s facilities. It’s a little far from the city center, but there’s a subway station nearby.
The neighborhood was quiet, and there were plenty of towels, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The rooms felt mediocre, there was no mini fridge, and our blanket had a stain. The metro is about 10 minutes from reception, while the airport shuttle is five minutes away. Staff were very rude except for the blonde lady. The hotel entrance is 200 meters from reception, so you have to ring and wait to be let in. Once, we waited 20 minutes for the receptionist, who said he was too busy. It may be one of the more affordable places, but that didn’t make the stay worthwhile.
Breakfast comes with the stay and has a fairly wide selection, mostly sweet Italian options. The rooms were clean, with housekeeping every day, and the price felt good for what we got. It’s also in a pretty convenient spot, about five minutes from a metro station.
The rooms were comfortable, but getting in could be a hassle if you arrived late. There’s a gate that reception has to open, whether you’re walking or driving, and it can take several minutes. As for the location, it’s a long way from downtown Rome and is very close to Vatican City, so I wouldn’t call it Rome proper.
