The host was especially kind and easy to reach if anything came up. We also loved the little kitchen, where we could cook and eat, with free coffee and tea. Our room and the rest of the apartment were very clean, and buses made it easy to get around to Rome’s tourist sights. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it! Lionel Benard, Aug. 4-7, 2025

We really enjoyed staying at Gianicolo Country Rooms and will definitely return on another trip to Rome. The room was spacious and cozy, with a private bathroom, mini fridge and TV. There’s a mini kitchen with what you need to make food, tea or coffee, and supermarkets and cafes nearby. The hotel is in a lovely Italian district, with several ways to get into the city center, about half an hour away. Staff were all kind and helpful. You can check in online, take your time and arrive late.

The area is peaceful and quiet, and there’s a bar next door where you can get breakfast. Bus stops nearby connect you to all Rome’s main points. The room was pleasant and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

A great host, large rooms and a very clean shared eating area made this a wonderful place to stay. The location is handy for getting around Rome, with a bus stop nearby and a great spot for food or drinks close by.
