The small room worked well for two and had what we needed, including a fridge, kettle, hairdryer and fresh towels. We also enjoyed the old-style lift. Rome termini station is less than a 10-minute walk away, with food places and nice sights along the way. The cleaner didn’t understand English, but helped when we needed something. We didn’t see the hostess, but she was great about letting us check out quite late because our flight was in the evening, and didn’t charge us for it. Five stars for that.

The room matched the photos, and housekeeping came every day. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the service was warm and kind. The location was good too. We also recommend Barbablu restaurant for its many true italian dinner options and great service.

We stayed three nights in mid-April and felt safe and sound. The room was small, but everything else was great, from the location and cleanliness to the service. The owners were lovely in how they treated us. It’s near Termini, the metro, buses and cafes. Thank you, hotel Castelfidardo. I’d consider booking again when I return to Rome.

We had the smallest room, but it was still comfortable and romantic. The mattress wasn’t really to my taste. Anna was amazing and friendly, and we enjoyed the free breakfast. After checkout, they let us leave our luggage at the restaurant while we took one last tour around Rome ❤️
