Catone Vatican Rooms

For the price, it did what I needed, and I'd stay here again. The building felt secure, with two codes and a key needed to reach the room. The room itself was tidy and the main facilities worked, though one or two sockets didn't, and there were spares. The shower had warm water but needed a proper clean, with some surface mold on the tiles. The sink had no cracks or mold, so I assume that issue mentioned in other reviews had been fixed. It's a well located place in an apartment block. The approach to the rooms was under construction, but that wasn't where we stayed.

There are lots of places to eat and drink nearby. The rooms were good, clean and simple, with everything you need.

We ended up having to disinfect all our clothes when we got home so we wouldn't bring bedbugs with us. The first night left us covered in bites, and on the second we found bedbugs in the bed and on the headboard. We found a February review describing the same problem, so it seemed it hadn't been dealt with. After we told management, they moved us to a hotel much farther from the Vatican than our original place, Vatican Rooms. I emailed customer service to complain but never got a reply. The service and handling of this were poor, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Worst accommodation experience I've ever had.

We were very happy here and would definitely recommend it. The service was amazing, the place was clean, and the cosy, comfortable rooms are centrally located near the underground and Vatican City.
