Cineroma Guesthouse

The place looks decent, but seriously, don't stay here. We were told there was 24-hour reception, but when we arrived the door was locked. No one came or answered the phone, which was switched off. We stood outside for almost two hours until another guest let us in. There's no reception, the owner can't be reached, and there was no one to contact when other guests were loud. I booked because of that promised reception, and it wasn't there. The owner did get in touch about payment. He wanted his cleaning lady to photograph both sides of my credit card on her personal phone, as well as my passport. I refused, then he asked me to text him my CVC code. I refused that too. The payment requests felt creepy and illegal, and the whole situation was outrageous, especially being left at the locked door with no idea what to do. Communication with the owner is nonexistent except when it's time to pay, if you can even get into the hotel. There was only a sheet to sleep under, no cover. It's May, and Italians are wearing autumn clothes, so I don't believe they sleep under something that thin. It felt like the hotel was cutting costs. The windows were so loose that my boyfriend thought they were open when they were closed. The walls may as well be paper. I woke up every day early in the morning to the cleaning lady or other guests making noise. I was so nervous there.

The rooms were clean and neat, and the welcome was nice. Coming and going was easy even without a car. Buses stop right in front of the B&B every 20 minutes, and the city center isn't far away.

The rooms were cute and clean, and the hosts were friendly. They helped us plan our days around what we wanted to see and gave us good places to eat. I'd absolutely stay again, 10/10!

I'd recommend this, but a heads-up: there's nearby accommodation called Amico del Sole, and it's a fraud. They cancel reservations on the planned check-in day and don't give a refund.
