Cloud 7 Roma Hotel

The soundproofing was remarkable. With the windows shut, we could forget the crowds below in the piazza, even late at night. Open a window, and you could hear people eating, drinking and walking around. We stayed in a Junior suite with our 16-year-old son. It never felt cramped: the king bed was comfortable, the chaise converted to a twin, and the simple furnishings left plenty of space. The small patio was lovely for a glass of wine at night. Housekeeping came every day and refreshed everything, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The location puts you steps from the Trevini Fountain, the Pantheon and lots of historical dig sites. A five-minute walk north takes you to the fashion district, with Valentino, Fendi, Bulgari, Armani and Bottega Veneta. The staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating from the first ciao to the last. Veronica checked our bags and helped us get settled when we arrived early, after our flight landed at 7am on a Saturday. She brought water and pointed out good places for coffee and an American breakfast, and was happy to share local restaurant tips. The hotel was in touch before we arrived to make check-in easier, and communication was great before, during and after our stay. It's a fantastic base for exploring Rome.

We could walk to most of the places on our itinerary, including the Colosseum. The hotel is on a pedestrian-only street, close to restaurants, the Trevi fountain and the Pantheon. Our room had everything we needed for two nights. The staff made the stay especially enjoyable. Veronica, Tommaso and Rughi were so helpful with all our questions. They gave us phone numbers to reach them and even helped me download a taxi APP. We felt we'd picked the best hotel in Rome. Thank you all!

I've visited Rome several times, and this was easily my best stay! The staff were all so kind and helpful. Breakfast was really good, and the rooms and bathroom were clean, comfortable and a good size. I'll come back. Greetings to the staff :)

We spent a long weekend in Rome with my wife, and this place is highly recommended. The location is perfect for walking to all the sights. Our room was simple but nice, like new, with a new flat-screen TV and a small fridge. The bathroom was very clean too. Service was excellent everywhere, from reception to breakfast.
