Coladir Guest House

We had a really upsetting stay. We’d booked the King Suite for myself, my wife, and our 3 y.o., but the room we were shown was nothing like the pictures or what we’d hoped for, especially at that high price. It felt like a run-down student rental. The glass was patched, the chairs were scratched and stained, the walls were very dirty and covered in stains, and the ceiling paint was falling. The bed was a pull-down one, not the bed in the photos. The sheets didn’t look inviting at all, so I ended up sleeping fully clothed on top of them. The mirror was broken, and pieces fell down when our child went near it. They showed us another room as an alternative, but it was equally bad. They said they might have something similar to this room the next day. We didn’t want to take our chances, so we booked another hotel. They refused to refund us, but gave us 200 euro cash out of the 700 for the night we’d spent there and said they would cancel the rest of our booking. Instead, they marked the whole thing as a “no show,” which meant we couldn’t leave a review on Booking, where we’d made the reservation. We asked for full compensation, or at least for them to remove the “no show” mark so we could review the stay. They wouldn’t, even after Booking contacted them. Avoid it at all cost unless you fancy paying top buck for a hostel.

We had a really nice room and bathroom, and the support staff were excellent. We arrived very late, so they couldn’t check us in person, but they let me through all the building doors remotely and gave clear instructions. For breakfast, they give you a sheet to tick what you want and leave outside the room, which I liked because it avoids wasting food.

My friend and I had a great stay. The room was clean, and everyone was kind and helpful. Service, location, workers, and owners were all great. Lorenzo and the other workers were wonderful. Thanks for everything, and love from Turkey.

The apartment gave us privacy along with hotel services, and the location was perfect. The staff were super nice, everything was clean, and having breakfast served to our room was amazing. I’d come back every time. Thanks for a great vacation 🙏
