We arrived to find pee in the toilet, dirty, unsanitary sheets, and lights that didn’t work. The walls were peeling, and the place was in a rundown building. There were no cameras or security. It’s basically an apartment in the back of a raggedy shack, converted into shared rooms to siphon money from tourists. IT IS VERY VERY UNSAFE INSIDE. This is not suitable accommodation, and the price should be free. It needs to be reported to the police, and they need to be dragged to jail. The pictures speak for themselves, and the positive reviews are nonsense.

It was an amazing experience, and I was very comfortable here for all 5 nights. I have extremely high standards for cleanliness and usually can’t sleep comfortably in hotels, but this place was clean even by my standards. One day I woke up later and saw the cleaning process myself. The two ladies were cleaning like they were running a marathon, wiping the walls, mopping under the beds, and cleaning every surface imaginable. The woman who checked us in was very nice. We arrived during our check-in time. If you’re planning to book, make sure you arrive within your check-in window since it isn’t staffed 24 hours. It literally has a Vatican view, it’s that close.

The room was in a separate building, and the bathroom was shared, dirty, and mouldy. We left within 30 minutes. I wouldn’t recommend it; the place felt more like a hostel.

The room was small but nice and clean, and the shared bathroom turned out to be fine, with hot water always available. Getting in was high tech: you unlock the door through a website with a password. There wasn’t much to do in the apartment, but the location beside the train station, with buses straight to the city centre, was the best I’ve ever had. I’d recommend it for that alone.
