The place is nice and worth the money, with a supermarket just across the street, a one-minute walk away. But the subway is a 15-20 minute walk, and the owner is rude and disrespectful of guests and their rights. He may charge your credit card without consent even if you prefer to pay in cash.

Colombo Holidays has a personal feel, more like a place where you're genuinely welcome than an anonymous hotel. The accommodation may look functional at first, but it turned out to be warmly run. Check-in was friendly, straightforward, and efficient. My room was clean and well-equipped, and much quieter than I'd expected for such a central location. Being close to public transportation was especially useful for sightseeing and business meetings in Rome. I highly recommend it if you're after down-to-earth, reasonably priced accommodation. I'll definitely be back.

Those 12 hours were unfortunately over much too soon. The room was welcoming, clean, and comfortable, and having breakfast in the room was a clever, convenient idea that gave us great privacy. It stayed quiet, and the Wi-Fi held up even during a hailstorm. Carlo was helpful, kind, and very discreet. It was a pleasant stay with no nasty surprises, and that's saying a lot. I'll be back :)

Mr. Carlo paid close attention to everything I needed. The hospitality was high quality, and my spacious, tidy room had all the comforts, plus a large bathroom. It was just a minute from the training center, which was invaluable. In a quarter of an hour, I could be eating at the excellent trattorias in Trastevere, the beating heart of Rome.
