Hotel Concordia

The rooftop bar was a highlight, with fantastic service, and we paid a good price. Still, the room was a little small, road noise was annoying even with the windows shut, and it was too loud to leave them open. The elevator was the smallest I've ever seen anywhere in the world. The shower didn't drain well, which seems typical for Italy. The A/C and heating were centrally controlled, so you get what you get, and I found it too warm. Breakfast was a typical continental spread and always underwhelming. The location and service were great, though I guess you get what you pay for.

We tried breakfast once, then skipped it for the other three days. It wasn't an issue, since we prefer going out to try local food. The hotel was clean, the service was great, and for the price the location was great too. I'd stay again if I come back to Rome :)

We went to the rooftop terrace several times for aperitifs and breakfast. It was lovely and never busy, so at times it felt like we had it to ourselves. The location was wonderful, with lots of major places and the metro within easy walking distance. The room was a nice size apart from the small elevator and shower. We were pleasantly surprised by Hotel Concordia during our three-night stay. Every staff member we met was so lovely and helpful, the nicest people we encountered on the whole trip. They held our luggage in the morning, let us check in a little early, and carried our bags up to the room. Big recommendation, and thanks again to the whole staff!

We picked Concordia because we wanted to stay close to Centro Storico and see as much as we could on foot. It's in a pleasant neighborhood, near shops, public transport, and restaurants. The rooms are small, but clean, and who goes to Rome to stay indoors anyway? Staff were very polite and friendly, especially Nikola and Matea. The rooftop view was great for a drink and appetizers. I'd definitely return!
