The area was peaceful, with supermarkets, shops, restaurants and gelaterias nearby. It was easy to reach Termini railway station and metro stops, and there were plenty of buses and trams around. The staff were friendly and tried hard to make us feel welcome. The furniture is old, though, and the rooms need renovating.

We paid for breakfast, which was supposed to start at 7, but when we left our room at 7:45 there was still no breakfast or staff. Getting into the building was unsettling too. We spent several minutes holding the buzzer, then an older woman from another floor let us in. There was nobody on the second floor either, so another guest let us through. We found our room key in the dark corridor and checked ourselves in, I guess. An emergency number was posted on the wall, but the call wouldn’t go through. Scary stuff. Stay away.

The rooms were clean, everything was properly organized, and the staff were really friendly. A great place to stay if you’re visiting Rome, with a great location too.

Unacceptable. They never booked us in, and we only found out a few days before arriving when we emailed to confirm. Be very careful about who replies to you. We had an email that seemed to confirm the reservation, but nothing changed. Their mistake cost us, and they didn’t apologize at all.
