Hotel Delle Muse

After a day out, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and there's a vibrant bistro and a more upmarket restaurant up on the heights. For exploring Rome, this was an ideal hotel. The 360 bus from Termini drops you two minutes from the door, and a five-minute walk up the hill brings you to wonderful views and the bus into town. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the unlimited hot and cold breakfast sets you up for the day. I didn't try the menu, so can't comment on it. With a bus stop right outside and quick access to Villa Borghese, plus the comfort and service, it's a prime pick. Rome's buses are easy to use, and there's a cap on daily travel costs.

I've been here at least a week now, and the owners and people running the place are actually awesome. I gave the location five stars because it's in such a safe area. Carabineri (police) are stationed across the street all night, which is reassuring, even though I trust our lord to guide my steps and his mother to shelter me under her protection and mantle. Beautiful restaurants and other shops are just five minutes away. Yes, I'd stay again.

A friendly hotel in a quiet, smart area, with easy bus access to central Rome. There are a few restaurants nearby, and a lovely Gelato shop close by with outdoor seating.

The staff were the best part, so friendly, kind, and helpful. The hotel has an old-style historic design, and the location is great, about five minutes from the bus station, with a pharmacy and Tobacco shop nearby. We had a two-single-bed room. It was somewhat small and well equipped, but the bed sets weren't very good and we felt cold at night. The shower was tiny and uncomfortable, and I think the place could have been cleaner. We tried breakfast in the kitchen, mostly sweets with a limited choice. Considering Rome hotel prices, I recommend it.
