Divo Apartments - Spanish Steps

The owner was kind, helpful, and quick to sort things out. Before we arrived, the shower glass broke, but he let us know promptly and found an alternative solution right away that didn't inconvenience us. He was even willing to cover the difference. He also bought us a replacement remote because the one there wasn't working. There are two TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, and one connects to the internet. The property is right in the city center on Via Frattina, with Piazza di Spagna at the end of the street and Via del Corso about a 10-minute walk away. The elevator is a real rarity in historic buildings, and everything is close by. The apartment itself didn't match the €700 we paid for two nights for two adults, a 4-year-old girl, and a free 1-year-old boy. In my opinion, €400 would have been fair. The shower is defective, with very little water coming from the showerhead and none from the large showerhead. The coffee machine was unusable because there weren't even two capsules. The microwave is handy, but at this price they should get a safer, steadier, better-looking cabinet for it. The bed is large and comfortable, though a mattress protector would be more hygienic and protect the mattress.

It’s a quiet apartment in a very central spot, but the cleaning needs more attention. The sofa bed was dusty when we opened it, and the walls were dirty. There isn’t much natural light either. For the location and price, I expected a bit more care.

The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was great. It’s a beautiful place in a great location. I’d happily recommend it when visiting this beautiful city.

Gianluca really made the stay, he was so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the location is hard to beat, just steps from the Spanish Steps on one of Rome’s loveliest streets. There are bars and restaurants close by too. I’d recommend "Ginger" for vegan or vegetarian food. A wonderful experience, thank you!
