Domus Aurea Luxury Suites

It’s in a fantastic spot near the train station, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Pantheon. The old building has been beautifully renovated, and the room feels spacious and full of light. It had excellent amenities, including toiletries and a hair dryer. They were also very accommodating about letting us check in early and leave our bags after checkout.

Via Cavour is a convenient location, and parking was easy. There are public charging stations for electric cars nearby too. We had an excellent stay at Domus Aurea Luxury Suites in the elegant Monti district. The rooms feel luxurious, with high-quality finishes, huge windows, spacious closets, and soaring ceilings. Everything we needed was there: shampoo and soaps, an espresso machine, a refrigerator, a comfortable desk, and a flat-screen LG TV. The queen bed had a great mattress, and we appreciated having two pillows with different firmness. Entry was by NFC room card and a key for the main door. The bathroom was modern and well equipped, with a roomy walk-in shower, wall-mounted toilet and bidet, and touch-controlled light switches. There’s air conditioning throughout. Yifan was kind and made check-in quick and easy, which we handled independently without any hassle. Everything went perfectly, and we’ll definitely return.

I learned that before the Colisseo was built, the ground there was Nero’s pool. It’s an awesome monument that fewer people know about. Tickets cost 18€ on the official site, and booking well in advance is a good idea.

The hosts were lovely and happy to help, and the room was very clean. It’s perfectly located, just a ten-minute walk from the Colosseum. I’d love to come back sometime.
