Domus Aurelia

We hardly felt like we were in the city here. Birds sang in the morning and cicadas chirped in the evening, with parks all around. The apartment had a marvelous view and a perfect location near the metro and a supermarket. Monica was a lovely, helpful host. I’d highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

We had a fantastic stay as a group. Stores, restaurants, and public transportation were all nearby, and the apartment was clean, well equipped, and conveniently located. The host was genuinely kind and made the experience even better. Highly recommended for a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

I don’t often leave negative reviews, but I feel I need to share what happened. I had a reservation here when my father in law suffered a stroke shortly before our stay. My family and I needed to be with him during a very difficult time, so I contacted the accommodation promptly and asked either for a refund or to reschedule. I understand that policies exist, but I hoped they might show some compassion given the emergency. They denied both requests without any flexibility. The financial loss was upsetting, but the cold, impersonal response during a genuine crisis disappointed me even more. Hospitality should include basic human decency, not just rules. That wasn’t my experience here.

We’ll always remember the wedding session we held in the beautiful garden. The owner helped organize the stay for our whole family, and everything was taken care of, which left the bride with less stress. The apartments were modern, extremely comfortable, clean, and quiet, with no street noise and lovely balcony views. The neighborhood has a supermarket, pastry shop, and great places to eat, and the location is well connected. Beautiful memories to keep forever. Thank you again, from a couple from Poland.
