The rooms are spacious, quiet, and clean, and the price is absolutely worth it. Bus and tram stops are right across the street, which makes it easy to get to the city centre. My train was badly delayed, so I arrived in Rome late in the evening. There’s no reception, but Alessia was incredibly kind and gave me all the details I needed to get to my room late. I’m sure I’ll be back at Domus Clara soon!

Domus Clara is an easy walk from loads of sights, including the Vatican, pantheon, Forum Romanum, and colloseum. Travestere is a great part of Rome, with lots of nice restaurants, winerys, and bars. The staff at Domus Clara were really friendly and helpful, and the room was great.

The soundproofing was really good, which helped in this central Trastevere spot surrounded by restaurants, bars, and nightlife. I stayed for a week and had a cosy room, a small free breakfast, and free WLAN. Most of Rome's places of interest are walkable, and public transport connections are excellent too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend it for a city trip.
