Even though Mario de Fiori 37 is next to a busy street, the soundproofing keeps it completely quiet inside. The room was spacious and spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. There are some stairs, but the friendly staff helped us right away. A perfect Roman stay!

We had an early flight and had asked the hotel to book a taxi, confirming again the night before. At 4 a.m. there was no taxi waiting, and the night attendant seemed clueless. He kept offering a car in 40 minutes or a shuttle at 5. After 40 minutes of this, we gave up and ordered an Uber.

The room faced the street, but it was impressively quiet, and the bed was very comfortable for a good night’s sleep after exploring. Mario de Fiori 37 is right in the center, handy for shopping and dining, and taxis or Uber can drop you at the front door. Highly recommended!

The location near the Spanish Steps feels more local than the area where we usually stay in Rome, Piazza Navona. There are beautiful boutiques and far fewer tacky souvenir shops than elsewhere in the city. The staff were warm and friendly and gave us a fabulous restaurant recommendation. The room was beautiful and spacious, with a great layout. I had one of the best sleeps in a while thanks to the most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve ever slept in. I’ll stay here again when I return to Rome.

The location was great, and we had a great stay over four nights two weeks ago. The staff were welcoming and wonderful, and our room was clean and nice. We’ll come back!
