Domus Pinciana

There was renovation work directly above my room, with drilling going on nonstop from 8 AM as they worked on the whole floor. Guests should be told about that ahead of time. The room itself was noisy too: its paper-thin door let every sound through to the hallway. I had to buy earplugs just to get some rest. If noise bothers you, pick somewhere else.

I wanted somewhere cosy and peaceful for my first solo trip to Rome in 10 years, and this B&B really felt like home. The owner even accommodated a few unexpected changes during my trip, which made me feel genuinely cared for. It’s in the north-central part of Rome near Borghese park, a safe area even for a woman traveling alone. It’s a little away from the busiest part of the center, but still right on its doorstep. The buses worked so well that I felt like a true Romano. The room had just what I needed, including a fridge, kettle, and a lovely comfortable bed. The host and the whole team looked after me so well. Thank you for the hospitality and a really lovely stay.

We stayed over Easter and loved the room, which was clean and just as it appeared in the pictures. The breakfast and the place’s charming atmosphere were lovely too. The hosting family and housekeeper Natalia were especially warm and welcoming. Even after we checked out, they quickly helped us with something unrelated to our accommodation. Getting here from termini station was really convenient, and there are great places to eat all around. Major sights are within walking distance too. The staff were incredibly nice, everything was very clean, and the beds were comfortable.
