It’s about a 20-minute walk to St Peter Basilica and 10 minutes to the Museum Vatican. I recommend this place if you’re planning to visit those two and want to save on train tickets. It isn’t an ordinary hotel, more like an owner turning a unit in an apartment building into a five-room hotel.

The place is in a residential neighborhood, about a ten-minute walk from Cipro, the nearest metro station, and a twenty-minute walk from St. Peter’s Square. It’s not a standard hotel, but a handful of guest rooms in one wing on the second floor, or first floor for Europeans, of a Roman apartment building. I had a pleasant, comfortable stay. My room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was great, and the A/C worked marvellously. The owner, Pietro, was friendly and very accommodating, just as others have said.

There were shops, supermarkets, caffès, and plenty of restaurants nearby, and the public transport was amazing. The location was great, and the quality for the price was excellent. We were really pleased with our stay and had a great experience.

Our room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. We had a really good stay, with friendly, helpful staff. The location was good too, near the metro and Vatican city.
