Elegant Apartment Campo Dei Fiori

Cosimo is one of the most professional hosts we've met. He's even put together a few books full of recommendations for exploring the neighborhood and further afield. We've stayed twice and can't wait to come back. The apartment is beautifully renovated on the top floor of a historic building. Its modern decor feels timeless, and the owner has a great eye. The rooms are comfortable, with thoughtful touches like plants in the living room that make it feel like home. There's also a fabulous terrace overlooking Rome's old roofs and domes. Campo dei Fiori is right there, and the central location means you can walk everywhere. The surrounding neighborhood has lots of little streets with independent bars, restaurants, and art galleries. This place deserves six stars, not five.

We stayed in mid-March with two other couples and loved the experience. Cosimo was so kind, and we felt thoroughly spoiled. He had treats and all the bottled water we could need ready for us, plus at least four kinds of coffee makers. There was lots of room for everyone, and the terrace and its view were fabulous. We also loved being right in the middle of such a great neighborhood. The pastry shop down the block and the porchetta sandwich downstairs were favorites, and everything was within walking distance. Cosimo even helped one of us track down lost luggage. We really appreciated his hospitality.

I've stayed in many private rentals as a seasoned traveler, and Cosimo is hands down the best host I've had. This is the kind of place that makes you wish Google reviews went up to ten stars. The thoughtful welcome included Prosecco and cookies from a local bakery, and the unit had plenty of coffee, snacks, sparkling and still water for our whole stay. It was also stocked with useful extras like tissues, paper towels, napkins, suntan lotion, and first aid supplies. Cosimo arranged our airport ride and taxi to the train station, helped with a restaurant reservation, and met us at both ends of the stay to make sure we got to the station successfully. He's gracious, kind, and professional. The apartment feels cozy and stylish, like staying in a friend's home. The beds were comfortable, with quality linens; the bathrooms had nice towels and even robes; and both the living area and outdoor space were superb. Stay here if you're in Rome. You won't be disappointed!

We found the apartment wonderfully equipped, the best appointed rental we've had. Cosimo was a great host, and there was Prosecco and pastries waiting for us. The fridge had bottled water, and coffee was provided. The patio was very nice, and the location was great. I'd highly recommend it.
