Getting around on foot was a pleasure: the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain are about 8 minutes away, and the Colosseum about 20. The hotel is also near the metro and bus stops, and there’s an elevator in the building. Our room was very clean and had air conditioning, a kettle, a TV, and a safe. Check-in went quickly, they cleaned the rooms daily, and breakfast is available too.

I stayed in the three-person room, with windows opening onto an inner courtyard. The suite was beautiful, tidy, very clean, and nicely equipped, with a bed that was extremely comfortable. It’s in a lovely building right in the centre, and the place had such a good feel to it. The people working there were kind and very helpful. I had a lovely stay, thank you!

The rooms were tiny and felt claustrophobic, and they looked very different from the online photos. The hotel says they have air conditioning, but ours barely cooled the room. During Rome’s heat wave it took hours to cool such a small space, so it was hard to stay in there for long. Breakfast was supposedly included, but all there was was bread. I don’t understand the high rating. Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else nearby.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The location deserves five stars too, just a few minutes’ walk from Trevi fountains. I wouldn’t bother with breakfast, though, it isn’t worth it.

We ran into a few problems with our room, but our host sorted them out. After that, we had a beautiful stay. The room was lovely and clean, the bed was comfortable, and all the attractions were close by.
