The staff were helpful with taxis and restaurant suggestions, and the location was excellent for the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, and shopping. I'd give the rooms four stars for now because they're still using physical door keys while they work on a keyless entry system. Once that's in place, I'd rate it five.

The staff made our family feel so welcome, especially Gina, who was at reception most days and greeted us with a friendly smile every morning. Our room, 204, had space for four, huge comfortable beds, high ceilings, and strong air conditioning. We also enjoyed having a sauna in the room, though it was over 30C and we didn't use it much. The hotel is quiet and very central, less than a 10-minute walk from the Trevi Fountain and seconds from Quattro Fontane, with Piazza Barberini Tritone about three minutes away. We arrived late on Friday and the virtual check-in was easy. Staff had sent instructions and a video on WhatsApp beforehand, and gave us a number to call if we needed help. We're so glad we found this hotel for our family visit to Rome and would highly recommend the Escape Luxury Suite.

We loved our stay and would come back if we return to Rome. The historic building has a lot of charm, while the rooms have been renovated with modern decor. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and well ventilated, with windows in both the bedroom and bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure. The front desk team made check-in and checkout smooth and were friendly and helpful. The location worked well for us, about a 10-minute walk to the Trevi Fountain, with cafes and restaurants nearby. Just keep in mind the building sits on a hill, so the walk back is uphill. We managed fine, but it could be hard for someone with mobility issues.
